Bringing Systematic Spelling Instruction to Your Montessori Elementary Class

A strong grasp of spelling supports and enhances reading fluency. Unfortunately, traditional methods of teaching spelling include memorization of unrelated words, which can be ineffective and discouraging to students who are struggling with spelling or with reading. Join us to learn how to implement a systematic approach to spelling that is engaging for students, connects with word study activities, and enriches vocabulary, leading to improvements in reading and writing skills.
