Supporting Literacy for Multilingual Learners

Our Montessori classrooms contain a wide range of structured, multisensory materials to help support literacy development. However, many of the lessons we give assume that our students are fluent in the language of instruction. In this session, participants will debunk myths about multilingual learners’ needs and practice key strategies for supporting their multilingual learners’ literacy development with Montessori materials.
